Last month I visited a coworking and coliving chalet in the Swiss Alps called Swiss Escape. Swiss Escape offers a chance for remote workers to experience the stunning mountains of Switzerland whilst still being connected to the online world where they earn a living. Whilst this was a personal chance for me to experience working in a community of digital nomads and to work remotely whilst snowboarding, it was also the perfect opportunity to interview the owners of Swiss Escape Haz and Fanny. Alongside running Swiss Escape they’re also part of a growing association of other coliving spaces around the world called Coliving Hub.
Check out the full interveiw below and let us know your experiences with working remotely, do you think most sectors of business can adopt this trend of work style?

Love this concept. As a Digital Nomad (light) with my office in my man bag, I can see extending that on further to nomadic working/living is a natural progression for those with the lifestyle flexibility to do so. As technologies play catch-up with this roving lifestyle there is really no excuse for anybody to say they are restricted to fixed office working. With accountability firmly in the game of project completion, it’s not about time spent working or being seen at a desk, it’s about delivery and ROI.
‘Future Working’ is a flagship programme at my organisation, aiming to change the way we work – changing our office spaces, devices and working methods, so we are supported to be our best ‘selves’.
As part of this field and flexible workers have been issued with mobile devices, enabling employees to work flexibly. We then have docking station on desks, for when we are office based. We have also moved across to Office 365, so we can now access our documents and emails without the extra login process, making it quicker and easier to work remotely.
